Crematory
McClure Funeral Home & Cremation Services sets the standard in cremation care from other area funeral homes because we own and operate the only on-site crematory in Christian County. This means your family member never leaves our care until you are ready, and your funeral directors personally oversee and perform the cremation process. From the moment we bring your loved one into our care, you can trust they will not be taken elsewhere. We promote transparency at our firm, and we invite you to visit our facility so that you are comfortable, confident, and educated on your cremation options.
Our cremation services building, located conveniently next to our funeral home, offers on-site cremation services for your loved one as well as separate equipment dedicated to pet cremation. We offer two strictly designated cremation units in order to serve humans and pets individually and lawfully.
Our crematory building offers a viewing space where families that choose so can witness the start of the cremation process. While the cremation process itself is not viewable, we do offer our families the option of being present while their loved one is placed into the cremation chamber.
Our separate crematory office allows for maximum privacy while we place our attention exclusively toward the meticulous formalities, necessary paperwork, and legal permits that accompany cremation.

The human cremation unit is located in a dedicated room. For our families who choose to view their loved one being placed into the chamber, there is a window that sees through to the viewing room. Please see our “Service Options” page for additional cremation service options.
Our pet cremation unit is housed in a room adjacent to the human unit, and features a completely unique set of equipment designated for specifically for serving pets. Unlike many pet cremation services, we only provide private, individual, cremation for your pet. This assures that the remains you receive are that of only your pet. Please view our “Pet Needs” page for additional information.
