Zelma F. Fowler Obituary (1919 - 2006)

Zelma F. Fowler, 87, of Taylorville, IL died at 11:32 am Saturday, January 21, 2006 at her residence. She was born March 28, 1919 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Clarence A. and Pearl Hendricks Morgan. On February 16, 1946 she married Paul J. Fowler in Taylorville and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1992. Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker and a member of Davis Memorial Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. Surviving are her Daughter Rebecca Westerhouse and husband Charles of Taylorville, IL and a son James Fowler and wife Elizabeth of Pearland, TX. Grandchildren: Adam Buckley and wife Tami of Owaneco, Carrie Rhoades of River Falls, WI, Elizabeth Fowler of Pearland, TX and Matthew Buckley of Decatur, IL. Step-Grandchildren: Michael Westerhouse of DuQuoin, IL, Katie Westerhouse, Kimberly Westerhouse and Amanda Westerhouse all of Palm Coast, FL. 6 Great Grandchildren: Skye Westerhouse of DuQuoin, IL, Taylynn Buckley and Hayden Buckley of Owaneco, IL and Andrew Rhoades, R.J. Rhoades and Eric Rhoades all of River Falls, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Marcus Morgan and Robert Loren Morgan and three sisters: Helen Louise Johnsen, Pauline Hicks and Thelma Morgan. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Davis Memorial Christian Church with Dr. Lonnie Southern and Rev. Vicki Southern officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Tuesday, January 24 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville.
