Theresa M Duni Obituary (1918 - 2010)

Theresa M Duni, 91 of Stonington passed away at 10:39am Tuesday February 2, 2010 in her home. She was born February 9, 1918 in Stonington, the daughter of Patrick V. and Mary Stapleton Coady. She married Tony Duni on June 24, 1937 in Stonington. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1988. Mrs. Duni was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of Dogpatch Oldies in Stonington. She is survived by her son: Errol Duni, wife Marilyn, of Taylorville; Daughter Rita Paulek, husband Frank, of Stonington; Grandchildren: Charles R. Hudson of Lexington South Carolina, Tricia Gruwell, husband Jim of Liberty Hill TX, Andrea Paulek of Stonington, and Craig Paulek, wife Katie, of Stonington. Great Grandchildren: Zane Gruwell, Cole Paulek, Waylon Paulek, and Scott Hudson. Sisters: Gerry Beaty, husband Gene, of Stonington, and Ann Marucco of Stonington. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and Brother: Patrick Coady. A funeral mass will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Stonington with Fr. Alan Hunter officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until 2pm in the church. Burial will be in the Old Stonington Cemetery in Stonington. Memorials may be made to the Stonington Rescue Squad.
