Penny Anne Jamison Obituary (1945 - 2011)

Penelope Anne "Penny" Jamison, 65, of Taylorville died at 1:40 am Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield. She was born March 9, 1945 in Taylorville the daughter of James C. and Josephine M. Brown Jamison, Jr. Penny was a member and Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church in Taylorville and enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, and reading. She had been employed by First Trust Bank for many years. Surviving are her brother: Mike Jamison and wife Sharon of Taylorville; Niece and Nephews: Camron Jamison and wife Tara of Fenton, MO, Shaun Vincent of Taylorville, and Michelle Klein and husband Seth of Taylorville. Great Niece and Great Nephews: Mackenzie Jamison of Toledo, OH, Jeremy Herman and Kaleb Jamison both of Fenton, MO. Uncle and Aunts: George Jamison and wife Helen of Taylorville and Sally Jamison of St. Louis Park, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bob Spurgin officiating. There will be no visitation.
