Patricia A. Beard Obituary (1930 - 2002)

Patricia A. Beard, 72, of Taylorville died at 1:20 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2002 in her residence. She was born August 25, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Walter and Bernice Zemlis Miklosh. On July 6, 1952 she married Thomas E. Hunt in Chicago and he preceded in death on December 26, 1974. She later married Billy Lee Beard in Las Vegas, NV on October 27, 1986. She is survived by her husband, Bill Beard of Taylorville. Step-children: Billie Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; David Beard and wife Gail of Taylorville; Mike Beard and wife Gina of Springfield, MO; Bev Durham and husband Ted; Ty Beard and wife Sharon; Trisha Hancock and husband Doug; and Tarra Norris and husband Kevin all of Taylorville. One sister: Bernice McKenzie of Littleton, CO and sister-in-law Joan Miklosh of Burbank IL. 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, first husband and three brothers, Bob Miklosh, Walter Miklosh and Ray Miklosh. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, January 21, 2002 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville with Fr. John O'Connell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent Hospital Hospice Program.
