Olga Hemingway Obituary (1918 - 2010)

Olga Hemingway, 92, of Stonington, IL died at 6:55 pm Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Taylorville Care Center. She was born April 27, 1918 in Stonington, IL the daughter of Voltaire and Cymone Besson Jouglet. On October 13, 1942 she married Austin A. Hemingway in St. Charles, MO and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1996. She is survived by a son: Austin Hemingway and wife Pam of Mt. Auburn and a daughter Carolyn Grant and husband Lawrence of Owaneco. 3 Grandchildren: Jim Hemingway and fiancee Peggy Morgan and Jarred Hemingway and fiancee Paula Gibbons all of Mt. Auburn and Patrick Grant and wife Michelle of Owaneco. 4 Great Grandchildren: Austin Hemingway and Colton Hemingway both of Taylorville and Conner Grant and Chloe Grant both of Owaneco. Brother: Adolphe Jouglet of Stonington and sister, Judy Johnson and husband Moe of Taylorville. There are several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brother, Eugene Jouglet and Sister, Norma Kastelic. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 19, 2010 at McClure Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to: Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation, 201 E.
