Marcel R. Podeschi, 75, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Taylorville, IL died at 7:30 am Friday, May 16, 2003 in Palms of Pasadena Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL. He was born August 27, 1927 in Kincaid, IL the son of Pasquo and Clemence Dussart Podeschi. On June 6, 1948 he married Mary Cummings in Kincaid, IL. Mr. Podeschi was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville. He is survived by wife, Mary Podeschi of St. Petersburg, FL; Children: David Podeschi and wife Susan of Dallas, TX; Denise Podeschi of Phoenix, AZ; Dan Podeschi and wife Cynthia of Roanoke, VA and Darrin Podeschi and wife Jennifer of Santa Rosa, CA. 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. 2 Brothers: Richard Podeschi of Mattoon, IL and Ronald Podeschi of Oostburg, WI and a sister Carol Spengler of Rochester, WY. Funeral Services will be at 8:00 pm Monday, May 19, 2003 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville, IL with Father Alan Hunter officiating. Private Family Graveside services will be on Tuesday in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL.
