Lorretta Faye Wingert Obituary (1949 - 2021)

Lorretta Fay Wingert, 71 of Warrensburg, passed away at 5:25am on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Taylorville Care Center. She was born on December 26, 1949, in South Dakota, the daughter of John and Fannie (Albers) Rust. She was married to Derald Wingert, who preceded her in death in 2013. Lorretta previously worked as a contractor providing technical support to cell phone provider, AT&T. She enjoyed traveling, playing BINGO and her favorite color was purple. She especially enjoyed her time spent going out to breakfast with her friends, catching up on the latest happenings. She is survived by her daughter: Carie Wingert of Oakhurst, California; and siblings: Lorraine Takach (Walt) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Larry Rust of Leesville, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. In accordance with her wishes, Lorretta will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
