Loretta Goodall Obituary (1916 - 2009)

Mary Loretta Goodall, 92, of Taylorville, IL died at 10:12 pm Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Meadow Manor Nursing Home, Taylorville. She was born April 9, 1916 in Morrisonville, IL the daughter James and Ora Lyles Vancil. On August 22, 1937 she married Herman C. Goodall in Morrisonville and he preceded her in death on November 21, 2001. Mrs. Goodall was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville. Surviving are her son: David Goodall and wife Phyllis of Taylorville; 2 daughters: Sharon Yates and Brenda Lanzotti and husband Lee all of Taylorville. 8 Grandchildren: Terri Johnson, Joni Freeman, Angie Younker, Andy Goodall, Beth White, Raymond Long, Jeff Long and Jennifer Stillwell. There are 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild Christine Lanzotti, 5 sisters: Stella Mason, Frances Keller, Martha McPherson, Elsie Walstad and Mamie Bruns and 4 brothers: Alva Vancil, George Vancil, John Vancil and Howard Vancil. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, January 26, 2009 at McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville with Rev. Charles Sward officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
