Katherine M. Rossi, 92, of Springfield, IL formerly of Langleyville died at 3:27 am Tuesday, April 22, 2003 in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL. She was born September 21, 1910 in Ogle County, Illinois, the daughter of Luigi and Erma Garoffani Nanni. On September 15, 1924 she married John L. Rossi in Princeton, IL and he preceded in death on December 12, 1987. Mrs. Rossi was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville. Surviving are: Daughter: Gloria Bertoldo and husband James of Tovey, IL; Daughter-in-law: Armella Rossi, Tovey, IL. Sister: Carmelina Baltrush of West Frankfort, IL; 4 Grandchildren: Kenneth L. Rossi of Springfield, IL, Brian L. Bertoldo and wife Vickie of Kincaid, IL, James R. Bertoldo of Tovey, IL and Katherine M. Puccetti and husband Michael of Girard, IL. 4 Great Grandchildren: Brian L. Bertoldo of Tovey, IL, Michael J. Puccetti and Katie M. Puccetti both of Girard, IL and Bridget L. Moomey and husband Don of Taylorville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son Leno Rossi, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Friday, April 25, 2003 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville, IL with Father Angel Sierra officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday in the church
