Kate Elizabeth Covington Obituary (1977 - 2002)

Kate Elizabeth Covington, 24, of Chicago, formerly of Stonington, IL died Sunday morning, January 13, 2002 at her residence in Chicago. She was born, June 21, 1977 in Taylorville, the daughter of Richard Jr. and Jill Ann Buhse Covington. Miss Covington was a 1995 Graduate of Taylorville High School, and a Graduate of Illinois State University, Normal where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She was also a member of the Golden Key Honor Society. She was currently employed as a paralegal in Chicago. Surviving are her parents, Rich and Jill Covington of Stonington; Brother, Brent Covington, Champaign; Grandparents, Richard and Helen Covington of Stonington and Robert and Sue Buhse of Waterman, IL. Aunts and uncles surviving are Jeannine Covington of Stonington; Vicki and Jeff Furry and children Natalie and Kyle of Normal; Tom and Cheryl Covington and children, Megan and Matthew of Stonington and Rick and Pat Buhse and children Stephanie and Michael of Manchester, MO. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, January 18, 2002 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville with Rev. Marge Overlott officiating Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery.
