Karlene E. Watchman Vighi of Taylorville, IL died at 3:25 am Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Meadow Manor N.H., Taylorville. She was born in Morrisonville the daughter of Ray C. and Muriel A. Dechart Bethard. Mrs. Vighi was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Morrisonville, V.F.W. Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary both of Taylorville. She had been employed by Sangamon Card Company in Taylorville. Surviving are her son: Kenneth Watchman and wife Mary Lee of Cape Coral, FL, Daughter, Linda F. Olson and husband Bruce of Taylorville. 4 Grandchildren: Kimberly Rae Eirhart and husband Dan and Steven William McQuire both of Taylorville, Tammy L. McCormick of Forsyth and Lorenda Genrty of Chino, CA. Brother: Ray Bethard of Taylorville, and Troy Bethard of Virginia Beach, VA, and a sister: Carolyn L. Yard and husband Leroy of Taylorville. Private family services were held and there was no visitation. Burial was in Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville.
