Jet K Brown Obituary (1958 - 2019) - Taylorville, Illinois

Jet K Brown, 61 of Taylorville, passed away at 8:23p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on July 9, 1958 in Lombard, Illinois. She married Donald E. Brown on September 15, 1990 in Taylorville. Jet previously earned her associate degree in accounting and retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation where she worked on web design. She was an avid fan of Mickey Mouse, liked putting puzzles together, and enjoyed spending time outside watching the birds and squirrels or working in her flower garden. More than anything she loved her family, especially her 2 grandchildren and was looking forward to the arrival of her newest granddaughter. She is survived by her husband: Donald E. Brown of Taylorville; daughters: Ambre Cherven of St. Louis and Crimson (Joseph Lawrence) of Taylorville; grandson: Granite Stockon; granddaughter: Nikyla Lawrence; brothers: Ronnie Schulmeister (Jacqueline) of Gurnee and Mike Schulmeister of Florida; niece: Jamie Roberts of Cincinnati, Ohio; and great niece: Keely Eads (Raleigh) of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ronald and Marilyn (Pierce) Schulmeister; and siblings Bonnie Roberts, Jimmy Coulson, and Bret Steier. In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Brown will be cremated, and the family will host a celebration of her life at a later date. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
