James Lewis Armstrong Obituary (1958 - 2012)

James Lewis Armstrong, 53, of Taylorville, IL died at 7:26 pm, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. He was born September 10, 1958 in Decatur, IL the son of Russell Lewis and Mary Frances Irvin Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong was a truck driver. Surviving are his mother, Mary Frances Armstrong of Taylorville, Brothers: Carl Dean Armstrong of Taylorville, and Henry Richard Armstrong and wife Loretta Jean all of Taylorville, and Sister: Doris Jean Armstrong of Taylorville. Nieces and Nephews: Dylan Lewis Armstrong of Taylorville, Katie Jean Lambert and husband Jeffrey of Decatur, Susie Faye LeGrant and husband Jason of Matthews, NC, and Russell Lynn Armstrong and wife Celleste, stationed with the U.S. Army in Korea. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Robert Lynn Armstrong. Memorials services will be held at a later date. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
