Hazel L. Bottrell Obituary (1919 - 2006)

Hazel L. Bottrell, 86, of Mt. Auburn, IL died at 8:15 pm Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Golden Manor Nursing Home, Nokomis. She was born September 6, 1919 in Mt. Auburn the daughter of Claude S. and Hannah Bell Canaday Ryan. On November 19, 1937 she married Donald H. Bottrell in Newport, IN and he preceded in death on January 3, 2006. Mrs. Bottrell was a homemaker and was a member of the Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church. Survivors include 2 sons: Claude S. Bottrell and companion Mary Bauer and Gerald L. Bottrell and companion Deanna Hosto all of Mt. Auburn, IL; Former daughter-in-law: Vicky Bottrell of Springfield, IL; 2 grandchildren Donald L. Bottrell of Rochester and Cindy Largent and husband Greg of Dawson, IL and 3 great grandchildren: Eldon Largent, Bruce Largent and Colin Bottrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son Leon E. Bottrell and 1 sister, Faye Grant. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL with Rev. George Heineman, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to service time on Wednesday.
