Harriet Ann Hadges Obituary (1945 - 2008)

Harriet Ann (Marshall) Hadges, 63, of Goffstown, NH, formerly of Taylorville died at 12:35 am Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH. She was born August 29, 1945 in Taylorville, the daughter of Alpha E. and Jean E. Brubeck Marshall. She married Jesse Litterly and later married Theodore Hadges who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hadges was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville, a Taylorville High School graduate of Class of 1963, and she attended Illinois State University. She had been employed by State of Illinois, a law firm in California, and most recently by an accounting firm in New Hampshire. Surviving are her mother, Jean E. Ellis of Sarasota, FL, Sister, Carol L. Wiest of Sarasota, FL, nephews: Damian M. Wiest and Aron M. Wiest. Aunt: Harriet White of Taylorville, Uncle James F. Brubeck (Barbara) of Normal, IL and Cousins: Becky Nicol, Denise Mears, Teri Payne, Harry Brubeck all of IL, Brenda Williams of TN, Dave Brubeck of FL, Shirley Schmidt of CO, Lela Hinden of FL, Edwin Marshall of MI,Sheryl Klemm, Kathy Lindsey, Carla Readhead, and Beth Markwell all of Taylorville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 24, in Grove City Cemetery, Grove City, IL with Rev. Charles Sward officiating. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
