Evelyn A. DeMichael Obituary (1913 - 2003)

Evelyn A. DeMichael, 90, of Stonington, Illinois died at 10:00 pm Thursday, May 15, 2003 in Taylorville Care Center, Taylorville, IL. She was born January 20, 1913 in Stonington, IL the daughter of Ollie "John" and June Coffeen Young. On December 28, 1935 she married T. W. "Toots" DeMichael in Stonington and he preceded in death on March 10, 1995. Mrs. DeMichael was a homemaker, seamstress, a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Stonington, IL, the Altar Society of the church and Christian County Senior Citizens. Surviving are: 2 sons, Tony DeMichael and wife Mary Jo and Mike DeMichael and wife Karen, both of Taylorville, IL. 2 daughters, Dee Ann Wattelet of Stonington, IL and Patricia Beck and husband Ron of Taylorville. 2 sisters, Helen Bollinger and Zelma Myers both of Taylorville and a brother Keith Young of Decatur, IL. There are 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, brother, Lyle Young and a sister, Joyce Stivers. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 20, 2003 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Stonington, IL with Fr. Martin O'Hara officiating. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, May 19, 2003 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.
