Elizabeth A. Nash Obituary (1925 - 2008)

Elizabeth A. "Betty" Nash, 83, of Taylorville, IL, died at 8:16 am Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was born February 4, 1925 in Carlinville, IL the daughter of Leo and Honor Ann Durbin Hill. On June 8, 1946 she married Charles Lester Nash at St. Rita's Rectory in Kincaid and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1990. Mrs. Nash was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville, Catholic Daughter's of America, St. Vincent Hospital Auxiliary, and V.F.W. Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter: Mary Ann Lowry of Taylorville. 4 Grandchildren: Jennifer Marie Lowry of Chicago, Jessica Lyn Lowry of Champaign, Brendan Kyle Lowry and Donovan Kevin Lowry of Taylorville. One great grandchild: Cameron Wayne O'Bryan of Champaign, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, John Hill. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 29, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville with Fr. Alan Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service in the church on Monday.
