Doris M. Oller Obituary (1932 - 2012)

Doris M. Oller, 79, of Taylorville, IL died at 3:04 am Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 12, 1932 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of James Monroe and Crystle Fallowell Kerns. On February 6, 1954 she married Clyde Leon Oller at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville. She had been employed by Blakely's Department Store in Taylorville for 3 years and then was the Laboratory Secretary at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital for 24 years. Mrs. Oller was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville and the Catholic Daughter's of America. Surviving are her husband: Clyde"Buzz" Oller of Taylorville, Sons: Howard Oller and wife Angela of Lockport, and Eric Oller and fiancee Morgan Fahey-Vornberg of East Peoria, Daughter: Lee Ann Oller and husband Michael Grover of Chicago. 3 Granddaughters: Grady Oller, Madeline Oller-Vornberg, and Mary Rose Oller. Sisters: Mary Knape and husband Hibberd of Tucson, AZ and Evelyn Ess of Kincaid. Sisters-in-law: Mary Kerns of Springfield, Wilma Weitekamp and husband Ed of Raymond, and Rita Hancock and husband Jim of Taylorville. Brothers-in-law: Larry Oller and wife Rita and Russell Oller and wife Irene all of Taylorville. There are several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers: Jack Kerns, Benjamin Kerns, Roy Kerns, and Jim Kerns and daughter-in-law: Rose Anne Oller. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville with Father Alan Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
