Dee Ann Wattelet Obituary (1940 - 2011)

Dee Ann Wattelet, 70, of Stonington, IL died at 1:48 am Thursday, February 03, 2011, at Taylorville Care Center, Taylorville, IL. She was born June 27, 1940 in Taylorville the daughter of T.W. and Evelyn Young DeMichael. On October 11, 1968 she married Thomas Severe Wattelet in Stonington and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2002. Mrs. Wattelet was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Stonington. She assisted at the Stonington American Legion and loved playing Bingo and singing Karaoke. Surviving are her son: Brian Wattelet of Springfield, and daughter: Gina Freeman and husband David of Taylorville. 3 Grandchildren: David Freeman, Jr., Tyler Freeman, and Brendon Freeman. 2 Brothers: Tony DeMichael and wife Mary Jo and Mike DeMichael and wife Karen all of Taylorville. Sister: Pat Beck and husband Ron of Stonington. There are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Alan Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery.
