Daisy M. Funderburk, 84, of Taylorville, IL died at 6:30 am Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Taylorville Care Center, Taylorville, IL. She was born June 15, 1920 in Holyoke, MA, the daughter of James and Daisy Wild Armstrong. On July 24, 1943 she married Rex Funderburk in Taylorville, IL. Mrs. Funderburk was a homemaker, a member of First Presbyterian Church in Taylorville and Haselmere Chapter #221 Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are her husband, Rex Funderburk of Taylorville, IL; 2 Sons: Kit Funderburk and wife Nancy of Fairport, NY and Tim Funderburk and wife Linda of Doylestown, PA; Daughter, Bonnie Schukai and husband Jay of Springfield, IL and 6 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 3, 2004 in Anderson Cemetery, Palmer, IL. Friends and family will meet at the McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville between 9:30 and 9:45 to go in procession to the cemetery. There will be no visitation.
