Catherine Rose Bryant Obituary (1907 - 2004)

Catherine Rose Bryant, 96, of Taylorville, IL died at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 8, 2004 in Taylorville Care Center, Taylorville, IL. She was born August 19, 1907 in Taylorville, the daughter of Joseph and Clara Kader Michels. On September 12, 1942 she married Glenn W. Bryant in St. Louis, MO and he preceded in death on November 5, 2002. Mrs. Bryant was a homemaker, member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville and had formerly been employed at Montgomery Ward and Liberty Mutual in Taylorville. Surviving are her 2 sons, Glenn Bryant and wife Rhonda of Woolwine, VA; Larry Bryant and wife Cheryl of Indianapolis, IN; 4 Grandchildren: Kevin Bryant of Albuquerque, NM, Troy Bryant and wife Katie and Sarane Harrell and husband Chris both of Jacksonville, FL and Mark Bryant of Norfolk, VA. 3 Great Grandchildren: Jacob Bryant, Peyton Bryant and James Harrell all of Jacksonville, FL. Brother: Carl Michels of Santa Rosa, CA. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 14, 2004 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service in the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
