Carolyn S. Bertinetti Obituary (1942 - 2022)

Carolyn S. Bertinetti, 79, of Taylorville, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in her home. She was born on December 7, 1942 in Taylorville, the daughter of C.F. and Pearl (Sanders) Bertinetti. From 1974 until 1985, Carolyn worked as an examiner for the Secretary of State Driver Services Facility in Taylorville. In 1985 she went to work as an auditor for the Department of Burial Trust with the State of Illinois Comptroller Office, a position she held until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and had a passion for researching her family history and genealogy. She is survived by her daughter: Mara Bertinetti; grandchildren: Tony Bavetta and Danny Bavetta; and great granddaughter: Bella Bavetta all of Taylorville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carolyn will be cremated and her remains inurned in the family plot at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
