Bunny Darlene Hendricks Obituary (1964 - 2021)

Bunny Darlene Hendricks, 56 of Taylorville, passed away in her home on Saturday, February 6, 2021. She was born on February 13, 1964 in Decatur, the daughter of James and Barbara (Manley) Hinds. Bunny graduated from Taylorville High School and earned a degree in radiology from Lincoln Land Community College. She worked several jobs throughout the years including the Crowne Plaza and Farmer's Market in Springfield, and Round Table and Casey's in Taylorville. Bunny will be remembered for her bubbly personality. She had an artistic ability that she enjoyed expressing through painting, cooking, and even her fashion sense. She enjoyed gardening, collecting fairies and butterflies, and loved animals. She is survived by her parents: Jim and Barb Hinds of Taylorville; daughter: Jayme Hardin (Matt) of Taylorville; grandchildren: Mercedes Kennedy and Olivia, Jack, and Carter Hardin; Brother: James Lee Hinds (Marie) of Knoxville, Tennessee; nephew: Aaron Hinds (Elizabeth) of Knoxville, Tennessee; and grandmother: Wilma Long of Taylorville. She was preceded in death by her son: Drew William Hendricks; and grandparents. Bunny will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
